Small Towns & Lottery

What do I think about small towns ? Well... they suck. Living in a small town with no cell phone reception and no place to go on the weekends with out going into town is a real drag when coming from the city. I'd hardly call Weirton a city, but compared to Amsterdam it's like New York City. You could go the little rinky dink movie theater with ten bucks, go bowling, or even walk to the store down the street when you're mad at your sister and thirsty at the same time. Sometimes I feel trapped in this house with the same four bedrooms and living room with the treadmill yelling at me to lose some weight instead of eating my feelings when I get sad. I also notice that people feel the same way too about being trapped. They don't want to leave and make something of themselves, who wouldn't want to break free of the same old routine and familiar  faces ?  Most of the people that live here have lived here since they were kids, I couldn't do that. I'm always dreaming of the future where I'm putting the bad guys in jail and buying new shoes.

The Lottery - It's a funny topic to talk about since all my sister has done since she turned the big 1-8 is buy scratch off tickets. She hasn't won anything of course but it's still funny until we go somewhere and she yells at me during the whole car ride like I'm the one who made her lose. I guess you could say that I am sort of to blame, I did tell her that she could buy them. They're more exciting then Bingo ! Who wants to sit with the elderly and compete for cash ? She'd end up coming home with a black eye and ripped clothes ! Well, that's how I picture it anyway. How do I feel about the Lottery ? I'm kind of indifferent about it I suppose. It's silly to play risk with like what, four numbers ? If you would happen to win though you get to be on T.V and flash all the fancy things you bought with your winnings. I think that's silly, just walking around your property and talking about all the money you blew on a jet you cant fly or twenty cars that are just going to sit around and collect dust. I'd rather spend the money on shoes & getting my nails done every two weeks, but that's just me.

Fun Steps.

I believe in making everything fun or at least enjoyable. No one wants to have a bad and/or boring day ! Yes, we all have those moments, but the best ones in life are the ones worth talking about. Those moments start with a spontaneous idea, or musical steps in this case. Plus, I don't know anyone who wouldn't want to make some noise on a piano stair case, my nephew would laugh so hard till he couldn't breathe !
